There's a longer, more interesting post in here.

It's never a good habit to check the visit stats, but I've been curious to see if anyone bites on the amazon links. (I've earned $0.43 so far!) At lunch today, someone from meat-life here evidently followed in from my facebook profile, which I didn't think should be possible.

Maybe it was me somehow, in a glitchy way.

So you are either addressing an interloper or talking to yourself. Perhaps you should post some marginally outrageous conjecture about your workplace (legionaires desease would work) without naming names, of course. And then sit back and wait to see if someone appears to look into the air-conditioning ducts. Paranoia strikes deep, into your life it will creep...then again...it may not be, strictly speaking, paranoia.

My job situation has been pretty tenuous this past year. I'd hate to give them an excuse.

On the other hand, I think I might have a suspicion who was peeking, and am fine with it if I'm right.

Just didn't know that path here was even open.

K (also I heard there might be something wrong the air conditioning!!)

Persistent cough, huh? Yep, that's how it starts.

About three years ago I created a website about the art of increasing one's vertical leap. I threw on some Amazon links and Google AdSense and about a year and half later (AFTER I took the site down, mind you) I received a check from Google for $21.00! But they say it takes awhile to get ramped up and the first year is always the worst. Who knows, maybe that check would've been up to $60 a year by now.

Hi Ben, I thought about thanking you personally for the 43 cents, but I thought it would sound gauche.

I generally lose all respect for people the minute they start sounding gauche. So it's good you took appropriate measures.

Before my copy of "Mirrors" arrived I slipped in one called "A Confederacy Of Dunces". Pretty funny. I'd recommend it if you haven't already read.

(And thus goes another attempt to reciprocate good book recommendations.)

So, what's an Amazon link? You know I'd be very supportive of you if I knew how!

I have been slowly adding some sponsored ads to the ends of book reviews. Click and shop! If I've convinced you to buy a book, I'll earn 4%.

Man, I should probably post something.
